"We were very lucky to find ALC builders with so many unscrupulous contractors on Oahu. Michael and his team have done an amazing job for us from completing the complicated outdoor lanai on our ADU to the complete renovation of our upper level.
They make a plan, communicate very well and explain if/why the plan changes.
The upper level renovation was extensive, replacing the original jealousies and reframing all of our windows, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new floors, and the removal and repair of our popcorn ceilings. This included extensive new framing in floors, walls and ceiling, building new walls, making new closets , finding and fixing old termite damage, and correcting mistakes from the original builders. His team installed new skylights , vanities, cabinets, doors and all the detailed finishing you expect but rarely get in today’s renovations. They clean up after themselves every day!
We also experienced a few challenges that they creatively overcame during the process to keep costs down and can give you excellent recommendations for vendors and sub contractors.
